Creative Apps on the AcTo Website!

Flower+Garden+Screenshot

Based on user feedback and popular searches on our website, the AcTo dementia team has been hard at work these past few months working on analyzing brand new games.

You can now find fun new apps for making pottery and planting your own flower garden! These apps are sure to keep you busy and encourage creativity with endless possibilities.

P.S. If you’re feeling extra creative, you can even send a virtual flower bouquet to friends and loved ones through our new Flower Garden app! (Wifi connection required)

If there is a particular kind of game or activity that you would like us to look into, please get in touch, either in the comments section of this post (below), by sending us a message or through Twitter. We'd love to hear your ideas and if we can find an app that meets our high standards for people living with dementia, we'll post it on the site.

AcTo Dementia

AcTo Dementia is a resource for people who are looking for support in identifying touchscreen activities for people living with dementia. The website contains reviews of apps that have been selected as potentially suitable for people with dementia, information on how to use touchscreen tablets in this context and a guide for users to access so that they can identify suitable apps themselves. It also contains news and publications from our specialist research group comprising researchers from the University of Sheffield in the UK and the University of Toronto in Canada.
